Leckhampton – 50 Year Plan — Corpus Christi College, Cambridge

Corpus Christi College, Cambridge

Davis Langdon

Leckhampton was established as a graduate campus by Corpus Christi in the early 1960s, around an existing Edwardian house, as an imaginative response to the rise in University graduate numbers. This study – 50 years after the site’s establishment in its current form – aims to provide a robust masterplan for the next 50 years of operation.

The proposals aim to both address immediate development needs, whilst also ensuring that the development potential of the site is maximised in the long-term. They also seek to provide a greater institutional structure to the site – a vision of how its emerging significance to the College might be embodied in the future.
